To install our free Messaging Software, follow these instructions:

• Click on the Download button below.



• When prompted, choose Save.



• In the Save As box, choose your Desktop.



• The file is a .zip file. As such, you will need to extract the file to your desktop.

That's it! There is no other installation needed.

A couple of notes regarding this program:

• As you add names and numbers to address list, the program creates a small "Names.txt" file on your desktop. To distribute the list to others in your company, simply copy this file to the same directory/location that the program resides.



• To send a message, enter the 10-digit local number (not the 8xx toll-free number) of the pager, or the PIN number, and type in your message. You can also send messages to distribution lists by entering their PIN.



• If the destination pager is numeric, do not enter anything but numeric characters.



• If it fails to connect, make sure:
  
  
  • In the "Configure" window, the information reads:
    
    
    • Server IP address: host1.baystar.com
    
    
    
    • Port: 444
    
    
    
    • Msg send timout: 60 seconds
    
    
    
  • You are connected to the Internet
  
  
  
  • You have entered the correct 10-digit number (ex. 7131112222).
  
  
  
  • Your network security settings do not block access to the Internet.
